Kern County Superintendent of Schools & Merced County Office of Education

With support from EBC, the Kern County Superintendent of Schools and the Merced County Office of Education are working on providing training and coaching to a cohort of districts and educators. The goal of this work is to improve instructional practice for multilingual learners.

Specifically, the Kern County Superintendent of Schools is implementing GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design), and providing job-embedded coaching support to educators. The Merced County Office of Education is implementing SEAL (Sobrato Early Academic Language), and providing job-embedded coaching support to educators.
